We are saddened to learn of the passing of David.
Our visits with him and Anita at their home and greenhouse and at our home, were very enjoyable. His smile and laughter will be an everlasting memory.

The passing of a great friend of 59 years is very sad. The tradition of working hard and taking care of friends and family will always continue. This is a family that has brought sunshine with beautiful flowers to so many of us. David will be truly missed, but his legacy will live on. All our love...

Mr. Wentworth, I have loved your greenhouses for over 30 years. Everything in the greenhouses is just beautiful.

To the Wentworth Family,
My family had the good fortune of moving to Rollinsford in July 1964, I started working at Wentworth Greenhouse within a few days, I was 12 years old and I stayed for 7 years,
my formative years - what an amazing life experience that was...
My brother, sister and all of the kids in the neighborhood worked at the Greenhouse.
Wonderful memories of good people and hard work! I tell my kids, with great pride, this is where I got my work ethic, my start in life.
David became my first mentor.

Warm Condolences from the Crowell Family.

Thanking you and your family for your hard work and courage in creating such an excellent business. What a joy to be able to casually walk among the beautiful flowers and plants. The staff, so well trained and helpful. Always under your guidance.

Dave was my first boss when I started working at the greenhouse at 15 years old. He was very energetic and animated and always referred to everyone by the first letter of their last name so I was called "L". It was honest, character building work for a teenager but we always had a radio playing so nowadays when I hear certain songs from that period I think of the couple years I spent working there. Sadly, there aren't many around like him anymore. My condolences to his family.
