Florence "Flo" Y. Allard, of Isle of Capri, Naples, Florida and formerly of Manchester, NH, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2017. Florence was born in Manchester, NH on October 14, 1917. She was the daughter of the late Philimon and Marie Houde and sister to the late Lilian Rheault and Rudolph Houde. She attended West High School and married her High School sweetheart, the late Edmond L. Allard on September 6, 1937, whom she had known for many years. Both her and her husband had much musical talents. Florence was an accomplished violinist and piano player since the young age of 12. The music they shared together brought much enjoyment throughout their lives not only for themselves but also for their four children, 12 grandchildren and their twenty-two great-grand children. She held membership in the Joliette Club of Manchester, NH and was a very avid and accomplished bridge player. She will be greatly missed by her daughter-in-law, Ann V. Allard, wife of the late Gerald R. Allard; daughter, Claudette J. Gottsegen and husband Robert; son, Dr. Maurice E. Allard and wife Anita; and son, Ronald A. Allard and wife Louise.
There will be no calling hours. A private funeral service will be held on Friday, April 21, 2017, 11:00AM at the Mt. Calvary Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donation can be made to the Meals-on-Wheels of Manchester, N.H. P.O. Box 910, Merrimack, NH.
